ABOUT US
St Helens Pharmacy Group was established in St Helens, Merseyside in 2012. The group started out as a single pharmacy in St Helens town centre and has grown to 20 branches in the present day. Each of which has a mission statement to become a centre of exemplary patient care for the local community they serve.
As the company has grown over time through mergers and acquisition there has also been an addition of our Head Office facility, and our GPhC Registered Pharmacy Hub acting as a central point for the inner workings of the group.
2012
The Beginning
Starting with a single branch - St Helens Pharmacy was created in 2012.
2014
First Acquisition
St Helens made their first acquisition after 2 years. This was Sutton Pharmacy in Ellesmere Port.
2017
Warehouse and Distribution
After acquiring 5 further Pharmacies between 2014 and 2017, St Helens opens its Warehouse and distribution centre.
2018
Head Office
The creation of Head Office occurred in 2018 to streamline accounting and operational tasks.
2023
Present Day
The group now consists of 20 pharmacy branches, with a centralised pharmacy hub and head office.

Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS)
CPCS is a new NHS service allowing patients to be referred to community pharmacies by their own GP, Hospitals and even 111. It can be used for minor ailments and even if you've run out of your medication. Contact us to find out more, this service is available in all of our branches.
New Medicine Service
All of our Pharmacies offer the NHS New Medicine Service free of charge. If you have recently started, or are about to start a new medication, then contact us today to see how this service can help you!
Prescription Ordering and Collection
All of our branches offer a Prescription Ordering and Collection service. If your surgery will allow us to order prescriptions on your behalf then we will be more than happy to do this for you, then we can offer free delivery once we receive it!
Discharge Medicines Service
This service is provided to anyone who has recently or is about to be discharged from Hospital. Our pharmacies can look after any changes to yours or a loved ones medicine regime immediately after discharge. This important service is provided by all of our branches, contact us for more information!
